Children have personality since the days of their born. You just need to develop it. And don't think they must do what you want or like. They shouldn't do everything like you do. Because they can't find their individual by that way.
Children study not from your words- from your actions more.
Of course you need to warn them about dangers. And don't forget about a very important thing - to explain endless ''why?'' s. ;-)
All of us need self-confidence. So you should trust them, that they have entrusted themselves.
It is good when children communicate with nature - they must understand where they live by their way of thinking !
